Almost all devices i imported into eve-ng all interfaces always shows in up/up state even when they are actually down. I'd like to know is there any fix for this issue.

What do you mean up/up, These are Virtual interface - they always be up. ( this is not physical ports)

What do you mean up/up, These are Virtual interface - they always be up. ( this is not physical ports)

He's asking if there's a way to make them reflect link state of the device on the other end? IE switch ports that show up/up when nothing is plugged in.

My statement still stands, Try shutdown the ports.

No any Qemu Virtual platform cannot simulate light or electrical signal ! What you ask is to detect resistance/light on a link.. Review OSI model Layer 1. Layer one is a physical property.....
