I have found a very unusual bug in the latest version of EVE-NG Community Edition (2.0.3-110).
When I create two Cisco ASAs both will work fine. If I name one of the ASAs to a previous name I used in another lab that ASA will bug out (ASA->HQASA_INTERNAL), the ASA will then boot with no interfaces present and most functionality missing.
I have found as a the ASA boots from NVRAM it is missing almost all of its functionality.
Example of what it is doing:

If I shut the node down and rename it, the bug does not get fixed. If I try to increase the number of interfaces it doesn't fix.
I have to create a new ASA and name it using a new name.

Re: Bug - Rename bug
no need create new asa, but simply use export cofig feature
https://www.eve-ng.net/index.php/docume ... gurations/
and another advice, id you are using ported ASA not ASAv, then adding on the topology plan your interfaces at once, like set 8 ethernets for it...
and then add on topology.
After adding interfaces can have this bug.
On EVE pro it is fixed
