vMX 17 boot problems

Post by namekman » Tue Feb 27, 2018 3:26 am

Looking at the vMX 17 instructions it seems like the original files come from the KVM bundle. If I use those files and place the nodes in a lab they are running without me starting them. That means I can't connect the two nodes together (VCP and VFP). I can log into either node, the VCP node shows the gig interfaces but I can't connect anything to them. If I use other files already converted to qcow2 then the nodes both start but the gig interfaces never show up. Any suggestions?

I did eventually get it to work. I followed the instructions you should helpfully pointed out before I bothered to post anything. That wasn't working. We're all trying to learn here. Snark isn't helpful.
