Hello EVE Community! I just tried running Eve-ng for the first time in my lab but I am hitting a snag. The VM fails to power-on and I get the following error: "Feature 'hv.capable' was absent, but must be present" My VMware skills are pretty weak but dr. google suggests that this has to do with the Hardware Virtualization option. However, I did not have much luck finding a solution online.
Here are some additional details:
- Eve-ng version - Latest
- esxi version - Tried on both 6.5 and 6.7
- "Expose Hardware assisted virtualization to the guest OS" option is enabled. Disabling the option allows the VM to power on, but my understanding is that this setting is required
- Tried deploying the VM through both the OVA and the ISO file
- Hardware - Cisco UCS-c240 M4
Thank you in advance!

The server has 2 x Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2680 v3. According to the spec sheet, VT-X/EPT is supported.

Re: Feature 'hv.capable' was absent, but must be present
I can confirm that virtualization is enabled under BIOS/CIMC. This seems to be a hypervisor compatibility issue. The two servers that we have this issue with are running esxi 6.5 and 6.7 while the server running 6.0 does not. Is eve-ng tested and supported for esxi 6.5 and 6.7?
