No IP on interface PNET0

Post by mramirez » Tue Nov 20, 2018 5:35 pm

Issue: No IP address assigned to interface pnet0

Running EVE-NG ova in Vmware workstation 14.1.2 off of a Win 10 machine. I generally leave EVE-NG running all the time since I randomly access some labs, but occasionally I will not be able to access the web interface to get to the labs. I would reboot the VM, and when it come back up I get the message above. The only way I have been able to fix the issue is to reboot the host machine, but even after that it's only a matter of time before the issue comes up again out of no where.

After I reboot the host machine, the VM gets its IP which has been reserved for it in my router.

message itself is nothing bad, you login into vm and check output
ifconfig pnet0

and until you can reach and access eve, this msg that no ip, is justmmsg.
Sometimes happens if in network is delay or lag, so it simply can disappear, but all will work
