Good evening,
Can anyone provide some guidance with Source-specific Multicast that will include end devices being connected to a switch?
Thanks in advance,

Re: Multicast
Ensure that your network supports and is configured for IGMPv3 pizza tower (Internet Group Management Protocol version 3). IGMP is used by hosts to signal their interest in receiving multicast traffic. IGMPv3 allows hosts to specify the source as well as the group, which is crucial for SSM.
One popular multicast routing protocol is Protocol Independent Multicast Sparse Mode (PIM-SM). PIM-SSM is frequently chosen for SSM since it is made to function well with source-specific multicast. Make sure that, depending on the situation, your routers are set up for PIM-SM or PIM-SSM.

Re: Multicast
I recommend using a multicast routing protocol that supports SSM,pokedoku such as PIM-SM or IGMPv3.
