I am trying to upgrade to the Pro version on my bare metal install but am not able to Ping www.google.com it fails as follows
root@eve-ng:~# ping www.google.com
ping: unknown host www.google.com
The instructions state to check the DNS
If ping is not success, check your DNS IP assigned for EVE. Some of networks can be protected and disabled outgoing ping, make sure that your DNS is right and you are able reach internet.
When I open the file to change the DNS it says do not change it will be overwritten where should the DNS be updated to allow hosts to resolve ?

Re: EVE-NG pro upgrade DNS help
the best way to rest all your network settings is:
Q: How to reset EVE management IP settings / DNS / NTP / Root password ?
A: from the EVE cli type: rm -f /opt/ovf/.configured. Then reboot and login from cli again. Your EVE will jump to initial setup wizard.
