Viptela 20.1 won't boot

Post by imprise » Mon May 18, 2020 3:13 pm

Hi all;

Consider the following error message while booting Viptela 21.1 on the latest version on EVE Community:

Searching for Root Device for the system ...
Setting 36 x 2MB Hugepages
Checking signature for /boot/20.1.1/vmlinuz
Kernel integrity check successful
Checking signature for /boot/20.1.1/rootfs.img
Unable to continue system boot. Rootfs signature verification failed.

After the above error message, the device reboots automatically and then the same problem occurs.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Thanks for your reply;

I changed the image with another image. Now the new image is 19.3 and I have checked its MD5 checksum with Cisco download and everything is OK! But, now the following error message appears:

20.1 is latest
And newer viptelas using virtio HDD not hd

but I tested with hda, hdb, works as well

Thanks for your reply;

The problem was not related to EVE. I tested several images and only one of them booted as normal.

Thanks for your time...
