How do I copy a production config to a VM in EVEng ?

Before posting something, READ the changelog, WATCH the videos, howto and provide following:
Your install is: Bare metal, ESXi, what CPU model, RAM, HD, what EVE version you have, output of the uname -a and any other info that might help us faster.

I'm constructing a simulation of a production enteterprise network with approximately 100 network devices. There are many different types of devices. Almost all of these are Cisco. Ther are switches, routers, firewalls.

My intent is to copy all the production configs to the simulation configs.

How do I do this?

But do you imagine what kind of server you need to run 100 devices per lab??
How many CPU and ram such boch must have?
Also Cisco devices for EVE-NG are virtual nodes provided by vendors (cisco), like vIOS, Nexus 9000v, CSR 1000v or similar.
Production configurations you can adopt first to match virtual nodes' interfaces using nodepad and then simply copy them in CLI

Some of the configs are quite large.

Is there a way to copy via tftp or ftp or scp?

Is there a way to "copy tftp run" from a production server to an Eveng virtual device?

Thank you.

if the configuration is not adapted to be used for virtual device, there then is no reason to load such.
Name your production product which config you want get for EVE node?

TFTP of course is possible if the node is connected to management cloud and you can access to it from your pc.

Again, if configuration will not match interface names and all what is related to that, you cannot load it on EVE node.

I thought the whole point of the environment is to execute configurations in an environment as close to production as possible.

Why would the running config for a production ASA5525 be different than a simulated ASA5525?

ASA 5525 as virtual image does not exist
one image was very long time ago, but interfaces on it was e0/0-e0/5

New virtual are ASAv only
