Any plans supporting FTD 7.6 or higher? there are some new SDWAN features worth the effort.

the latest is 7.7 and it works just fine.

Yes, FTD 7.6+ support is on the roadmap, mainly to leverage the enhanced SD-WAN features and policy improvements. It’s definitely worth adopting for advanced WAN edge use cases.
